Transformational entrepreneur shares his impactful business journey.

After years of struggling to pay his bills, Tom and his partners transformed how they thought. With his partners, Tom sold a technology firm to found Quest Nutrition. Focusing on value for the customer instead of money, the company thrived. With the objective of ending a crippling pandemic, metabolic disease, Quest experienced explosive growth.

Tom’s journey from rags to riches is built on the quest to achieve a noble objective. Quest Nutrition’s team sought to develop a business, which made a difference in the world by ending metabolic disease. Launching new products involved sacrificing product margins to ensure customers received the best value. Quest’s customer-centric approach paid off. Within three years, the company experienced a 57,000% growth and its $1B valuation occurred within 5 years of the company start date. From the beginning, Tom and his team focused on the goal. He now speaks to global audiences about how to obtain a richer mindset, which helps people and improves lives. Tom exited the business with a new objective. Yet, he recognizes his past was instrumental to the evolution in his thinking.

Before starting quest with his partners, Tom was in debt. Searching for investment money and hard money was emotionally challenging for him. After an aggressive, decade-long quest to develop his mind, Bilyeu’s life circumstances changed for the better. He plans to pay it forward by teaching others to achieve by integrating a higher mindset into daily experiences. Mindset evolution is one reason that he, along with his wife and partner, created Impact Theory. The for-profit content creation company will leverage the power of content to impact global audiences.

How Will You Impact the World?

Tom went from dead broke, in debt and not able to pay all of my bills to building a billion-dollar brand and completely changing his financial circumstances by going on a decades long quest to develop his mind as aggressively as a bodybuilder develops their body. I promised myself that if I ever had the opportunity to pay it forward and teach people to do the same, I would. We created Impact Theory — a for-profit company designed to leverage the self-sustaining power of commerce to radically influence global culture.
