  • The bottom line value of your reputation as an employer
  • How to hire the best, and keep them
  • That culture trumps pay and benefits, every time
  • How to get the system off your employees’ backs and let them do their best work

LEADING FROM A DISTANCE IN A REMOTE AND HYBRID WORLD

Format: 60-90 minute keynote

This program is perfect for:

  • People who are leading teams of remote and hybrid workers
  • Those who want to be better leaders, regardless of the work setting

The audience will learn:

  • How to support your team members, individually, and as a group, when they’re working remotely
  • Four things every leader should do daily, to provide the essentials to individual and team success
  • The importance of team synergy, and how to nurture it from afar
  • How to lead teams made up of both onsite and remote workers
  • Tips and adjustments for remote location communication
  • How to manage performance when you’re not there… and neither are they
  • Leading and inspiring hope in times of tremendous change

While the fundamentals of leadership have NOT changed, the context in which leaders practice those fundamentals HAS changed forever,

Compared to practicing leadership in a traditional setting, leading from a distance carries its own special set of challenges. While people still need, among other things, vision, feedback, performance management, recognition, and community… delivering these necessities is harder, but not impossible, when we’re separated.

Even if people aren’t working in the same physical space, your job as a leader is to bring people together. I can help you do that.

THE OOMPH FACTOR: MAKING THE EXTRA MILE THE BEST PART OF THE TRIP

Format: 60-90 minute keynote

This program is perfect for:

General audiences, management and front line, who want an entertaining and inspirational program that will help them get the most out of themselves and those they work with.

In this program, designed for general audiences of managers and non-managers alike, I’ll talk about what some of the most successful men and women do every day to keep their organizations thriving, and growing in the right direction.

For example, these people:

  • Know that “just because you don’t have to doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.”
  • Adapt well to change
  • Compete with the competition – NOT their teammates
  • Care about each other as people
  • Are optimists
  • Finish what they start
  • Look for ways to do things better
  • Don’t worry about whose job it is, whose fault it is, or who gets the credit

Come and learn how to make going the “Extra Mile” the best, and most rewarding part of the trip!

LEADING A MULTIGENERATIONAL WORKFORCE

Format: 60-90 minute keynote

This program is perfect for:

Leaders and others in organizations that want to learn to be more effective in a multigenerational workforce.

Leaders who want to learn how to better recruit, retain, and engage workers of all generations.

Today’s workforce features an unprecedented five generations of workers. And leaders are challenged not only with understanding the members of each generation, but with getting maximum productivity from the BLEND of everyone.

I TAKE A DIFFERENT APPROACH TO MEETING THESE CHALLENGES FOR LEADERS.

Rather than making fun of the foibles of each generation, and teaching how to pander to the popular (and largely inaccurate) notions of what makes each group “different”, we focus on realistic strategies to make the whole workforce function well in concert.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • How to stop griping about millennials and start adapting your organization to make maximum use of the available workforce
  • Why generational (or any kind of) stereotyping misses the point
  • How to compete as a powerhouse for attracting talent of all ages
  • Three ways to develop inter-generational cooperation
  • What each generation can gain from the others

Learn to attract, retain, and ENGAGE workers of every generation to become a talent magnet, and maximize business outcomes.
