Meg Bucaro is a communications strategist, keynote speaker, and college faculty who is passionate about empowering clients to perform at their highest level by communicating with power and influence. Whether Meg is working with clients on how to secure their next client, negotiate a contract, or simply how to utilize body language to increase likeability, credibility and influence, Meg brings her expertise, sense of humor and passion to each class, session and event!

Earning her Master’s Degree in Communications from Northern Illinois University, she has taught Communication Studies in higher education since 2001. Her professional speaking career was launched in 2010 and began to coach and work with law enforcement professionals and attorneys a few years later. Her clients include those in healthcare, insurance, education, sales, as well as law and law enforcement.

Meg is an active member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) and a board member of the Illinois Chapter of NSA.

When it comes to kicking back, Meg enjoys time with her family, soaking in the Midwest weather on her patio with a cocktail and a good book or going for a jog while listening to her favorite 90’s rap tunes. Any given Sunday in the fall, this avid Chicago Bears fan can be found cheering on her beloved Bears (no matter how dismal their record has been).

Put Your Big Girl Pants On- and Other Power Moves to Increase Influence

We spend most of our working hours communicating without purpose, then wonder why we don’t secure that client, get the sale or promotion, lose the case or just feel plain stuck.

Learn how to show up with purpose and power with Meg’s inspirational keynote, which shows how our communication behaviors dictate our future success.

Human beings are judged every day by how we show up, personally and professionally.  Our communication style–what we say and how we say it–has become the basis for how others view us and (ultimately) treat us.

Participants will learn how to:

• Increase awareness of how our communication behaviors dictate how others view us and treat us

• Show up confidently (even when we experience moments of self-doubt)

• How to adopt specific body language techniques to increase your influence

• Control any fears of speaking in front of others

• Communicate purposefully in both formal and informal situations

At the close of the program, attendees report:

  1. An increased knowledge of how their communication behaviors affect other’s perception of them and how this influences their career.
  2. Increased ability to implement specific techniques to communicate confidence, expertise and influence.

“Take charge of your personal and professional future by learning how to communicate with precision intent for dynamic growth!”

Increasing Influence in the Courtroom

The following programs are suggested as a 3-part series but flexible to address client’s needs for the greatest opportunity for growth.

  1. Body Language in the Courtroom – How Non-Verbal Language Influences Courtroom decision makers.
  2. Witness Preparation: How to prep willing and reluctant witnesses
  3. Opening and Closing: The Why and How behind Storytelling during a Jury Trial.
