Jon Dorenbos is a former NFL long snapper, two-time Pro Bowler, world-class magician, America’s Got Talent finalist, author, and keynote speaker whose life story is a powerful example of resilience, forgiveness, and purpose.
At 12 years old, Jon’s life changed forever when his father took the life of his mother and was sentenced to prison. Jon entered foster care while his aunt fought to gain custody of him and his sister. Through therapy, family support, and his own determination, Jon made a decision early in life that tragedy would not define him.
After receiving no college football scholarship offers, Jon found his way to the University of Texas at El Paso, learned to long snap, and earned a place on the field. In 2003, he signed with the Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent and later joined the Philadelphia Eagles, where he became a fan favorite, team leader, and two-time Pro Bowler during a 14-season NFL career.
Beyond football, Jon built a second career as a magician and entertainer. His unique blend of magic, humor, storytelling, and inspiration took him to the finals of America’s Got Talent and has made him a sought-after performer and speaker for audiences of all sizes.
Today, Jon shares a message of resilience, gratitude, forgiveness, and choosing happiness through adversity. Whether on stage, at corporate events, or in front of private audiences, he delivers an unforgettable experience that inspires people to get back up, move forward, and live with purpose.
