Billy Brimblecom Jr. is a professional drummer, cancer survivor, and CEO of Steps of Faith Foundation. The organization has provided prosthetic limbs to more than 2,000 uninsured and underinsured amputees across the country. His keynote isn’t a corporate framework or a slide-driven methodology. It’s a deeply human story that is raw, funny, and unforgettable.

Billy’s journey took him from touring internationally as a professional musician to a cancer diagnosis that cost him his leg. He then co-founded Thundergong!, an annual fundraiser built alongside his best friend, actor and comedian Jason Sudeikis (SNL, Ted Lasso), that has raised millions for amputees nationwide. He was featured in a CBS News Sunday Morning segment watched by over 84,000 viewers. His foundation’s work has been recognized across the country as a model of purpose-driven leadership.

Billy doesn’t just tell a great story. He helps audiences see their own challenges differently.

Moving Forward When Life Changes the Beat

This is not a business leadership keynote. There is no corporate framework, no color-coded slide system, no consulting-speak. What Billy delivers is something rarer and more powerful. It is a story so honest, so funny, and so hard-won that it reframes how people think about adversity, adaptation, and what it means to keep going.

Through the lens of music, improvisation, and a life lived through extraordinary challenge, Billy shows audiences how the skills that matter most are not learned in a classroom. Resilience, adaptability, and authentic connection are forged in the moments when everything falls apart and you have to figure out what comes next.
