Rob Shanahan is one of the world’s most sought-after music photographers. For over 30 years, he has been “in the pocket” with the legends of rock and roll, capturing the private, unposed moments that define cultural icons. His journey began as a 10-year-old drummer with a simple rubber practice pad in Norwood, Minnesota, eventually leading him to Los Angeles where he became the personal photographer to Ringo Starr, and many others. Rob’s acclaimed books, VOLUME 1 and VOLUME 2: Through the Lens of Music Photographer Rob Shanahan, features forewords by Ringo Starr and Sheila E., and an epilogue written by Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones.
