We are excited to announce that two of our motivational speakers, Mitch Holthus and Dan Meers are headed to Super Bowl 2023 with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Mitch Holthus, is best known as the Voice of the Kansas City Chiefs. Mitch is in his 29th year as the Chiefs play-by-play announcer. His signature call being “Touchdown! Kan – sahz City!” The 2023 Super Bowl will be Mitch’s third Super Bowl that he has announced.

You might not recognize Dan Meers but you will see him throughout the game! Dan is KC Wolf, the team’s mascot, a role he’s held since 1990. This will be Dan’s third trip to the Super Bowl as KC Wolf.  If they win, just imagine how big the Super Bowl ring is for KC Wolf!

Mitch Holthus is the voice of the Kansas City Chiefs and is the longest tenured and most decorated play-by-play “voice” in franchise history.

Holthus is also the host of the Hy-Vee Chiefs Insider television show and the Chiefs Rewind television post game show. In addition, he originates the “Minute with Mitch” radio and television series which is seen and heard in five states. His work is also featured on Chiefs.com.

Following the NFL season, Holthus is a television play-by-play announcer for college basketball. His work has been featured on the ESPM family of networks, Fox Sports and other national outlets. He primarily covers the Big 12 Conference and the Missouri Valley Conference and is a past recipient of the John Sanders “Spirit of the Valley” award.

Holthus is also a member of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the Kansas State University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Holthus has also won an Emmy for his video and on-line work by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

In addition, Holthus is a past recipient of the Kansas City Sports Journalist of the Year. In 2018, he was listed with the voice of the Royals Denny Matthews as one of the top 13 “one-two” play by play pairs in America by the Sports Broadcast Journal.

Dan Meers has been KC Wolf, the mascot of the Kansas City Chiefs, for more than 25 years. In 2006 he was selected as the first NFL mascot inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame. Dan travels throughout the United States and the world entertaining thousands of people both in and out of costume. He has performed in over 30 states and six different countries.

He is in high demand not only as a mascot but also as a humorous and motivational speaker to audiences of all ages. His enthusiasm, optimism and love for life are contagious and make Dan an inspiration to all those he meets.

Be it young or old, executive or blue collar, his audiences walk away with a smile and a renewed spirit to live life to the fullest.
