Biography

From national championships at Nebraska to the Super Bowl with the Carolina Panthers, Mike Rucker knows what it takes to perform when the pressure is high and everyone is counting on you to deliver.

A proud Nebraska Blackshirt, Mike helped the Cornhuskers win three national championships before being selected 38th overall in the NFL Draft. He spent his entire nine year NFL career with the Carolina Panthers, earning Pro Bowl honors, playing in Super Bowl XXXVIII, and becoming one of the franchise’s most accomplished defensive players.

Today, Mike serves as Director of the Southeast Region for NFL Legends, supporting former players as they transition beyond the game. He and his wife, Kristina, also own their own real estate agency in Charlotte, giving Mike firsthand experience applying lessons from elite athletics to business, leadership, and client relationships.

Mike brings stories from football, business, family, and community service together to deliver an engaging message about leadership, accountability, resilience, teamwork, and building a meaningful legacy.

Mike grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri, and his Midwest roots remain an important part of who he is today. He and Kristina have three children and currently live in Charlotte, North Carolina.
