Dr. Laura Hambley Lovett is an award-winning organizational psychologist, keynote speaker, author, and podcast host with over 25 years of experience helping people and organizations thrive. As the host of the acclaimed podcast Where Work Meets Life™, she explores the human side of the workplace with warmth and insight. A sought-after thought leader on workplace psychology, the future of work, and career development, she is passionate about building cultures that attract, retain, and empower talent.
Laura holds a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Calgary, where she also serves as an adjunct professor, and is the founder of several psychology and consulting practices, including Canada Career Counselling. In 2018, she was honored with the Canadian Women of Inspiration Award as a Global Influencer. Her upcoming book, I Wish I’d Quit Sooner: Practical Strategies for Navigating a Toxic Boss (January 2026), blends research, real stories, and actionable strategies to help those facing toxic leadership.
A creative storyteller and mental health advocate, Dr. Laura is also the author of two psychological thrillers – Losing Cadence and Finding Sophie – which are being adapted into a television series. These novels inspired her to co-found WITH HER, a movement dedicated to ending violence against girls and women.
