National Nurses Week: National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. These permanent dates enhance planning and position National Nurses Week as an established recognition event. As of 1998, May 8 was designated as National Student Nurses Day, to be celebrated annually. And as of 2003, National School Nurse Day is celebrated on the Wednesday within National Nurses Week each year.

Celebrate Nurses week with an Inspirational Speaker!

Your nurses do more than chart meds, administer enemas, and fluff pillows. They also calm fears, laugh at jokes, and encourage. Their day starts before the sun rises and ends long after it sets.

Nurses face a variety of challenges, yet patients continue to expect them to be professional, knowledgeable, and uplifting.  When we are at our worst, nurses are at their best with the answers and attitudes we need to keep going. But what keeps them going?

At Midwest Speakers Bureau, we do one thing: We connect the right speaker with the right audience for the right event. If you regularly hire inspirational speakers for your staff development day, or if you’ve never considered the idea, we can help you plan a successful event.

Regardless of the size of your budget, we’ll help you find speakers who can enlighten, share ideas and tools, invigorate, and inspire a renewed sense of purpose. We work with local and regional speakers, and those with a nursing background.

We’d love to visit with you and share more about the services we offer. Call us at 877-974-6972, or email angela@speakernow.com. To learn more about us, visit speakernow.com.
