Gretchen Moran Marsh, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist who is an expert on the topic of mental health. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Masters Degree and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wayne State University. Gretchen has spent over 20 years working with individuals in private practice transforming their lives, improving life satisfaction and restoring a positive mind set.

Due to the exponential spike in anxiety and depression in recent years, Gretchen started bringing her expertise to professional speaking. Mental health problems not only cause individuals to suffer personally but also in their professional lives resulting in decreased productivity, increased absenteeism and mounting medical expenses costing the global economy $1 trillion each year. Gretchen will teach your team empirically validated techniques that will immediately improve overall mental health and decrease the likelihood of problems in the future. Specifically, she will train your team how to change how they think, behave and feel resulting in improved life satisfaction both personally and professionally.

Mental Health: Breaking the Stigma and Finding Solutions

In the past several years, there has been an exponential spike in anxiety and depression related disorders resulting in negative effects for both the individual and employer.  This coupled with the facts getting mental health treatment is expensive, carries a stigma and a shortage of mental health professionals has caused a national crisis.

Come learn empirically validated strategies to not only immediately improve your mental health, but to also prevent mental health problems in the future.  These strategies are exactly what Dr. Marsh teaches her private clients, but taught in a quick & easy way to understand and implement.  This  transformative and positive presentation provides actionable tools to cause change.

Suicide Prevention & Awareness

The latest research reveals suicide rates are on the rise across the globe. Over 47,000 Americans die each year from suicide with 1.7 people attempting suicide.  Most people have known a suicidal person or someone who has died from suicide, but DON’T know how to identify who is at risk, how to help, and what resources are available.  Most of these tragedies can be prevented through education, support and resources.

Join Dr. Marsh for this interactive, informative and empowering session to learn about the latest research about suicide, how to prevent suicide and how to cope with the aftermath of a suicide.

Supporting Children's Mental Health

Children and adolescents are suffering from mental illness at higher rates than ever before in history.  In fact, the US Surgeon General has declared the state of mental health in the US a national crisis.  This coupled with the lack of mental health professionals has left parents and guardians at a loss of how to best help the children in their life.

Join Dr. Marsh on an informational session on how to best help a child in your life with their mental health struggles.  This session will include information about the state of mental health of children, contributing factors causing mental health problems and actionable steps for caregivers to support a child’s mental health.  There will be ample time for Q&A during this session to address individual needs.
