James Malinchak kicked off the morning with his message on why everyone needs a little motivation daily. Ann Ulrich shared why we need to be BOLD! in our personal and professional lives. Tim McCormick, the 7 foot tall NBA basketball player, slam dunked some great ideas on how his experiences on the court can apply to our lives. Dave Horsager wowed us with his magical illusions and taught us how to earn people’s trust. With lots of audience participation, LypSchtick Improvisation Productions amazed everyone with their ability to think quickly on their feet. They even set the scene for the big surprise! With everyone’s help, we celebrated Juli Burney's 50th Birthday with cake, balloons, and noise makers!

Comedian Jeff Havens started off the second part of the morning with his comical insights into the English vocabulary. Even though he wasn’t first on program, Charlie Wittmack was the first Iowan to climb Mt Everest. After a thrilling trek up Mount Everest, we listened to former Kansas City Chief's cheerleader Cathy Newton give us the tools we needed to reduce stressful moments. Richard Hadden, author of “Contented Cows Give the Best Milk”, shared techniques on how to keep your employees happy. Lastly, Jerry Carroll summarized the morning events with his unique, hilarious and insightful observations. The showcase had something for everyone, and everyone was really something!
